IGBC STUDENT CHAPTER AT PMCA

Piloo Mody College of Architecture, Cuttack saw the launch of the 1st ever Student Chapter of CII-IGBC in the state on the 3rd of May 2016. The event was promoted and supported by the PMCA Global Alumni Association. Speaking at the launch ceremony, the Chairman of IIA Odisha Chapter, Ar Sagarendra Mohapatra said that this initiative would promote the cause of green buildings and green practices in the state. The Principal, Ar D.Das and Head, Governing Body, Er S.Mishra also highlighted on the issues posed by a not-so-green world and stressed on the imminent need to sensitise the student community on sustainable principles The CII-IGBC was represented by Mr M.Anand, Principal Counsellor, Mr Ritabrata Sen and Mr Satyaki Biswas. At the end of the event, IGBC Green Rating manuals and other literature were presented to the college. The Piloo Mody College of Architecture is one of the oldest colleges in the eastern region and continues to impart quality education to the students.
